Kathleen Martell is a multi-media artist working with welded metals adorned with found objects to create additive and subtractive sculpture.

 

First picking up a welding torch in the Fall of 2022, she has been expanding her audience and telling stories through her work, which consists of Warrior Figures and other metal celebrations.

  • Sculptures of welded metals adorned with found objects. 

  • Warrior Figures celebrate the strength and fragility of the feminine fire.

  • Hanging, table top, and outdoor sculptures range from sunbursts to flowers, peace symbols to altars, and abstract forms in between.
